Can I camp in a tent?

Absolutely. Our property offers more than six acres of beautiful tent camping with mature trees and peaceful surroundings.

Do you offer long-term camping?

Are you close to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally?

Yes. Covered Wagon Resort is only minutes from Sturgis, making us a popular destination during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Riders enjoy our convenient location, quiet atmosphere, and easy access to rally events throughout the Black Hills.

Do you have special rates during the Sturgis Rally?

Yes. Sturgis Motorcycle Rally rates are separate from our standard seasonal pricing. We recommend booking early, as accommodations during rally week fill quickly.

Are motorcycles welcome?

Absolutely. We proudly welcome motorcycle riders each year during the Sturgis Rally and throughout the riding season. Many guests enjoy using our campground as a relaxing home base while exploring the scenic Black Hills highways.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Our standard times are:
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
If you need to arrive outside normal office hours, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to make arrangements.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes. Complimentary internet access is available throughout much of the property, including cabins, RV sites, and some tent camping areas.

Do you have showers and restroom facilities?

Yes. Guests have access to a clean bathhouse with showers. The bathhouse is open seasonally from late May through September.

Do you allow campfires?

Yes. Fire rings are available for many camping areas, allowing guests to enjoy traditional campfires while following local fire safety regulations and any seasonal restrictions.
